Discussion The feathers originate from a bird, which was plucked by a carnivore. The length of the tail-feathers corresponds to Purple Heron. Nevertheless, there is no plumage, which corresponds in the coloration to this species. It was stated that in the Western Palearktic there does not exist a species with such feathers. Therefore, it was proposed that the feathers originate from a cultivated form of a Gallus species bred by a poultry farmer in the area.
